I'm a proactive Sound Designer from an Iraqi background with experience in recording, mixing, and live sound, as well as expertise in some musical instruments (with a focus on electronic instruments). Known for working calmly and efficiently in high-pressure environments.
Often my work tends to blur the lines between musical underscoring and sound design, most of the time creating a sonic language to aid (or even serve as a counterpart) to the main storytelling of the given production
I did my preliminary training as part of the National Theatre's Young Technicians programme, and later studied at RCSSD as part of the Theatre Sound course (from which I graduated in 2022)
